License & Usage
Check the License on this page first: it tells you what is allowed for this font. The general rules below explain what the common terms mean.
Personal use
- Posters, wall art, gifts and invitations made for yourself, family or friends
- School projects, portfolios and hobby work that you do not sell
- Mockups, concepts and practice designs that are not published for a business
Commercial use
Using a font to earn money or to promote a business counts as commercial use. For example:
- Logos, branding and packaging
- Products you sell, such as t-shirts, mugs, prints and stickers
- Client work, advertising, websites, apps and video
Fonts marked Personal Use Only need a commercial license from the designer before any of this. Use the Test & Buy button on this page, or contact the designer directly.
What is never allowed
- Re-uploading, selling or sharing the font files, or adding them to a bundle or font pack
- Editing the font and releasing it as your own
- Embedding the font file in a website, app or document where others can extract it, unless the license allows it
Not sure what applies to your project? The designer's license always takes priority, so ask them before you publish. This is a general guide and not legal advice.
